ah man! Hope it's a brief one & you get to enjoy your holiday. Think derby Wolf had the same happen recently, and I had a long weekend scheduled recently and came down with something on the thursday afternoon meaning the whole weekend was written off! Of ourse, felt fucking better the day i was due back at work!

I've got strep throat at the moment, with an ulcer the size of a polo mint on one side. Im on antibiotics and Difene for the pain, got signed off work for the rest of the week but haven't cashed that cheque as its too fucking mental at the moment. Im in the middle of organising the rollout of AI training for approx 1000 people, including creating the content, booking training rooms, sending invites, tracking attendance and liaising with faculty who are volunteers basically and also have their own roles, plus got a request yesterday to organise ice cream trucks to come to the 4 offices next Monday to celebrate our new "growth model", so that means gathering insurance certs and so on plus organising access to the business parks. I've also got my mid year performance review tomorrow so needed to submit a ton of updates and artefacts to support that.
So it wouldn't be worth it for me taking time off as there's no-one I can delegate the work to, it just would end up being delayed and I would pay the price later.

I used it for my performance review but its too formal, it doesn't write like I write, its too verbose so it needed multiple changes to make it more human.
I wouldn't trust it for the other stuff yet.

Jigsaws.

Absolute waste of time. My wife and step daughter are currently doing one. They're getting annoyed with it. My advice of 'just look at the picture on the front and save the hassle' didn't go down too well.

I love jigsaws, but you have to have a plan of action. Biggest one I've finished was 2,000 pieces. Word of advice, if they get towards finishing it, don't hide a piece so that you fit the last one. That would really piss them off

Was a bit brutal when the doorbell went at (what was) 6.05am
