Yes and where does it go? Shrewsbury gets first dibs on everything and the rest of the county is left with scraps.
I moved to Shifnal in 2016 my CT was £110 a month by my maths it’ll £230 come April an absolute disgrace. To add STW bill was £36 now it’s £87, G&E was £90 now it’s £230.
Done my maths my utility bills have increased by £800 in 10 years including other bills as well.

Standard for politicians. Labour still bang on about the mess they inherited from the Conservatives and back in 2010 Cameron's lot constantly blamed everything on the mess that Labour left behind

As JD says, the general feeling in Shropshire is that Shropshire Council spend a fortune on vanity projects in Shrewsbury whilst the rest get hardly anything. Bridgnorth has never looked so tired and neglected as it does now yet our ctax is increasing by 9%. Crime spirals yet they changed our Police Station to a part time one and if you do need them have to ring Telford and very unlikely they bother to come. The roads around the town and on every road out are absolutely appalling people literally swerving all over the place trying to avoid wrecking tyres on huge craters

Also the myth that if you live in Shropshire you must have a spare bit of cash always and be fairly well off. Still huge amounts of poverty in the market towns like Oswestry, Whitchurch, Market Drayton, Ludlow etc
