Amazon music, basically it depends on where you start the random from. If it's a song from the first part of the alphabet it won't go past the letter M, from the second half it won't play a song from before it.

Thought that was just me, seems to have gone from hardly any to 5 or 6 A-day for me.
I realise thats probably chicken feed for most but its all relative.

I have a Sonos system that pretty much bricked itself when they decided to update/refresh their app. It’s slowly coming back to what it was previously (Sonos reckon they are “80% there”) but it’s taken a very long time.

I have a Sonos Roam and the app has always been useless. Linking to Amazon music it can only sync 600 tracks so even worse than the Amazon music app.

I just Bluetooth directly to it as a result.

Burn all of your Sonos gear in solidarity with the devs who screamed to anyone that would listen that the app wasn’t even close to ready, and then had/have to work buku hours to fix the whole mess.

Fuck that company.

Home Assistant is something I’ve watched a few videos on, but it’s always seemed above my IT capabilities.

It’s actually surprising easy to get started with, but can be a proper rabbit hole once you are in. I do like being outside of monetised wall gardens wherever possible - HA controls most of our smart tech, once it’s set up it’s pretty much hands off too.

My laptop updated a couple of days ago, took absolutely ages. Sent my laptop completely nuts! Slowed it down no end and took half of my apps off the desktop. I`m sure there is a way to rectify this after such an update but it`s way over and above my I.T. capabilities. I`ve removed the updates.

I have just found out too that one of our new uptake who I have been training up, lovely girl, very intelligent, great work ethic, etc is resigning. Thought it was because of all the schoolroom shit but she is losing her right to work because of the new Government rules saying that foreign nationals must earn £30K and her salary is below this. Fucking madness!

Today is her last day. She flies home to Bahrain on Monday and has been offered a job there. Such an intelligent girl with a great attitude and work ethic, a huge loss. Nonsense of a rule
