Presume Mrs Nuno isn't out in Saudi with him so even harder for him to see his family now than it was when he was here

Are the stars aligning for an emotional return?

I’m all in

Now that we are in the bottom three , and are likely to stay in that general region for a while , the Manager we need is someone who can instill fight into our players and aggression .
When we have the ball I have heard lots of people say that we play nice stuff and are easy on the eye ( apart from the scoring part ) , but you spend a portion of the season ( hopefully ) trying to remove ourselves from danger , you need a lot more fight from our players than I have seen to date , particularly of late .
How many of the possible candidates are used to trying to remove their team from trouble , how many know how to instill a lot more bit into our play .
I think Nuno would be good at that , Emery I think as well ( Villareal are a small outfit lets not forget ) .
Perhaps Lopetegui wouldn't be .

Very much doubt we'd have lost to Albion (we shouldn't have anyway).

The way people talk about him on social media is disgraceful. Generally a similar demographic that do, young kids who have no context at all (and are cunts).
You missed the fact they are often “pro Lage” which tells you they are massive weapons.

I don’t agree that abuse would come from the stands early doors, Lage never really got any and the majority of the fan base were either ambivalent or wanted him out.

There would be an obvious immediate lift. Also people like myself who weren’t exactly bothered about him at the end of his tenure have seen the grass very much so isn’t greener on the other side, and fully respect that those years were the best of our Wolves lives and would love them back, particularly when they are a far cry from how things are now.

I will caveat all this with it should be a last resort rather than the actual plan.

Edit - but it seems the plan was JL and there is nothing else, so given Nuno or Rob Edwards/Dyche then there is only one winner

The idea that the fan base would turn quickly on Nuno strikes me as off base. The man's got an enormous amount of credit in the bank- certainly more than any of the other candidates.

Maybe i spend too much time on Twitter, but it doesn't feel that way.

I think the point about the apathy towards Lage is a fair one though, if fans weren't that arsed to call for his head until the last couple of games then you'd imagine they'd have far more patience with Nuno.

Get him on a plane to the UK...he can bring the geezer Hobbs back with him

I'm too suspicious of South American football at this point to trust Gallardo to be anything but a disaster tbh.

We've just seen so many high-rep managers and players from that continent come to MLS and even fail here.

I don't think I need to tell anyone how much bigger the leap to the Prem is.
