They also put Zenga in charge and learned from that!

I think they just assumed 'good players, all established now, just put anyone in charge'. But you can't do that.
I agree with this, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was an extra element of Shi thinking he'd pulled off a blinder by picking up a cheap youth prospect (in managerial terms) to match the general vibe with the player transfer policy. If it had worked out he'd have looked a genius, but I imagine the worst case scenario he could conceive of was just bumbling about in mid-table. Too naive to realise it could easily be worse.

Pundit Michael Owen saying we should have given him a few more games and it wasn't the worse run he'd seen! Shaun Wright-Phillips and Paul Scholes agree and feel sorry for him.

"Pundits" have generally been quite generous towards us, makes me think they are being paid by the Chinese government. Other than a handful of moments, we have lurched between bang average and terrible all season and most of the latter half of last season.

Bruno has the charisma of a shell fish so it's not as is he is entertaining for the media...I really don't get what he's got or what Wolves are showing that deserves any sympathy.

Other than a purple patch where we got more points than we probably deserved, his record is appalling.

I will take Dyche or Rogers. We need someone who can put this team to work and get the best out of them, there is no way this team should be battling relegation. The manager needs to have some experience of.....managing.

Maybe they're all Lizard People, too.

At last, a little too late in my opinion, I’m currently in Lanzarote and was hoping to wear my shirt last night but felt too embarrassed.
I’ve worn the Wolves shirt in Australia, Canada, Florida, Hong Kong, Singapore and also here on several occasions.
I’m just relieved he’s gone and hope whoever takes over can turn it round.

Ruben Amorin? Right sort of Fosun manager...Portuguese, relatively inexperienced, had some success, Portuguese.

From Portugal too.

I had a boner for him a while back, haven't followed what he's been up to this season though

Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim has been installed as the early 7/4 favourite to replace Bruno Lage as he continues his rapid rise to prominence in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Amorim picked up the manager of the season award last year and has also guided Sporting to one league championship and three domestic cup successes in just over two seasons.

At just 37-years-old, the former Portuguese international is regarded as one of the brightest young managers in Europe.

Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui is currently second favourite at 4/1.

It is believed the former Spain and Real Madrid boss in on the verge of losing his job at the La Liga club and has been heavily linked with the Molineux job in the past.

Olympiacos Pedro Martins (5/1) is third favourite having won the Super League in Greece three years running as well as success in the Champions League.

The 52-year-old former Portugese international will know the majority of the Wolves squad very well indeed and would be a popular choice.

Other prominent names include former Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas (8/1), Lille manager Paolo Fonseca (10/1) and former Burnley boss Sean Dyce (10/1).

Who do you want as Wolves manager?

Who do you want as Wolves manager
Next Wolves manager odds:
Rúben Amorim 7/4
Julien Lopetegui 4/1
Pedro Martins 5/1
Andre Villas-Boas 8/1

Lopetegui's man rather than Ruben Amorim's / Amorim's man scans much better for the Ruben Neves song.

Thank fuck for that.

Now keep Mendes out of it, and have a proper process. I don't care if it takes a month, just have a proper fucking process
