Nice try at deflecting, it hasn't worked. Who cares if I didn't correctly detail all aspects of the job description of a scout. What Matt Pearson describes as 'opposition analysis' you want to call scouting. Yet again, this isn't important. You can try and shift the goalposts as much as you like. Neither the scouts or the analysts are responsible for tactics, team selection or substitutions. That responsibility lies with Steve Davis as the first team coach.

I can see my discussion with Johnny75 is winding others up. I'm sorry about that. I just felt it was incredibly unfair that Steve Davis was labelled a liar. Whatever his shortcomings as a coach he seems to be a thoroughly decent human being doing a thankless job at a difficult time. If nothing else surely he needs as much support as we can give him. He won't be there for long regardless of results.

It's been confirmed they have been looking for investors by the club. Then it's been suggested by independent folks in football finances that we're up for sale.

Unlikely the club would announce that as it's not the Chinese way.

This has led to speculation Wolves will be sold. We are tiny compared to the overall group value but may be easier to sell as less regulation compared to say a financial company. One ITK on MM has stated he has seen evidence that talks have taken place but other than that I’ve seen no evidence to suggest we will be sold imminently. Some say summer investment suggests not, others that not appointing a manager is evidence we are up for sale - take your pick which you prefer!

Fosun are looking to sell at a bad time. Nobody is going to want to buy us at the price they will be looking for: the best way to describe how this will pan out is “protracted saga”.

If Jeff succeeds in his search a new manager, the new manager will be crap.

It has nothing to do with logic. I was simply trying to put a little bit of a positive spin on things at a time when it is so easy to be ultra negative. I too am very concerned about many things but refuse to accept we are doomed just yet.
