It’s like they don’t grasp that the WC is mid season and there won’t suddenly be lots of managers available that aren’t already available.

It is quite incredible how in the space of 15 months we’ve gone from being a fairly established PL side to a drifting shambles both on and off the pitch. Relegation now looks more probable than possible.

If I had any faith in them I'd say we had positive talks with Gallardo and he was coming in Jan. It fits timewise but I doubt we are organised enough for that.

Not really. Even if we do lose every game between now and the break we would probably only be 3/4 points adrift. We aren't very good but there are some shocking sides this year.

You credit them will way too much planning. It's kicking the can and hoping for something better further down the line when either an International manager gets sacked or we beg Lopetegui if his dad has died by then.
