Anyone else notice Adama was passing the ball ball better against Spurs? Into space, and at one point drew three defenders to him and passed for Pod to have a shot.

progress imo

No but now you have highlighted it I will look out for it.

He played alright I think. Some good dribbles in the first half and agree with PQ, some good forward passes in the second. I hope that playing a 4231 can give him a run of games that he clearly needs

I thought Traore was busy in the 2nd half, getting down the right wing and stretching their defence and occupying 2 or 3 defenders. His crosses were rarely productive esp. the airborne ones but IMO he didn't "fade badly".
How much would you give to see Adama take a ball on the move :)
To be honest I think he's being instructed to hold the ball and draw players, the other night he didn't move until two players, at least, were on him.

Adama would be better served by getting the ball on the move then detabilising the defensive shield rather than standing still till he has accumulated players - yes it might leave gaps elsewhere, but gives him a much harder job to get it to someone else who is now in space.

We have seen how he can hold onto the ball & run through/past a number so still takes them out of the game.

Hoping for a strong ref tonight who will ignore all their dives and reward ours :p

Decent drummer in Culture Club but this seems a big fixture to be throwing him into.

Yeah, not a lot Nuno could do I guess. I think I'd have stuck with a back four, but if Silva and Podence aren't deemed to be able to do 90 I guess that really limits us
