Man Utd v Wolves 1/2/20

Jota and jimi need to get closer to each other... Fully expect us to up the pace 2nd half.
Feeling a bit miffed that Neto didn't start to be honest.

Really cautious half from both teams though MU far more cynical on fouls than they used to be - how the mighty have fallen.

Boly far more conservative than he was, but first game back on the other side I will forgive that.

Played okay. Hope we can go and get the first goal now!

Doc been very poor with the ball. Defensively fine. Boly and Jota looked rusty at times but equally some excellent pieces of play. Jota I would say is our most dangerous of the front three in that first half.

Neves outstanding as he has been for months now

Feel a lot safer with Boly in there, that's for sure. Thank god he's back.

I don’t see what Doc offers this team.

Now Traore plays every week he’s not fast enough to go past him so just gives it backwards.

Or usually, gives it away.

He is starting to look completely out of place in our side.

Oh, and I don’t know the solution either.

Jota has been very Jota. Good build up but makes too many wrong decisions. Doc has just been outright poor.

We've gotten I to some good positions but Man Utd have been better with their play in the final third and look most likely to score first to me.

Really poor in the final play.
Doc and Jonny have been below par for a few games.
Jota and Traore have been poor with their delivery, traore is not running at Fat boy

I know I'm gonna get flak for this but I think Neto offers more quality than Jota. Jota's decision making has been routinely poor.

Would like to see Traore track Shaw back a bit more. He had free rein going forward in that 1st half.

What's happened to Neves's free kicks? They all fly way over the bar.

We are getting something curvy with nice tits when what we need is a dirty slut with an affable wink ...

Pretty standard Wolves game plan, keep it disciplined and make life difficult for your opponents then hope there's something you can do on the break. Welcome change to avoid the calamitous goal give away that's become seemingly routine so all pretty much going as you'd expect so far.

Expect things to open up more second half now as we've seen many times seen Nuno took charge, and likewise from the home side looking to force the issue. Hopefully can maintain the discipline off the ball and come out on top.

No flack from me, totally agree.

Too many of our attacks break down as a result of Jota’s decision making.

pretty much this. there was some good back/forth the first 20 minutes but they're controlling the game and we're not having much luck working the ball out of our own half.

doc looking poor. jota is rusty (and being Jota-ee), neto was doing well not sure why he lost his spot.

Jota loks a bit rusty - inclined to bring Neto on

Boly is rusty as well but as long as he merely defends it's not that much of an issue.

Podence/Neto for Jota is going to happen. Just a matter of time for me.

HIT IT!!

Fuck sake. He’s so, so rusty.

Hate to say it, but if that’s Neto in that position it’s 1-0 Wolves.

Tug on the arm from mcguire on jota.....middle of the pitch its given.

In this new era of forum positivity, Doc is still 17 times better than he was a few seasons ago.
