It’s a classic of leaving someone in the team simply because we won the last one, even though we’ve got a clearly better player available, the previous match was against some second tier muck and tonight we’re playing Man U. It’s nonsense, but it happens time and again with lots of managers. Plenty will disagree with that - everyone who thinks the starting XI on Sunday are all ‘heroes’. Does my head in though.
