Man Utd 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Great result, meh performance. We didn't create anything and scored with pretty much our only effort on target. And what a goal! Superb from Sarabia. He can make a difference when he comes on if he has the attitude of the last couple of weeks. Front 3 were poor, back 3 generally good. Andre didn't have the best first half but I thought he was superb in the 2nd half. RAN another with a poor game. One of the back 3 MOTM, probably Toti just about the best.
Cant remember JSL holding onto the ball once. Not sure he won a single duel

Same run, it was 6
Season 1970/71 Division One (we eventually finished 4th equal on pts with Spurs but they had a better goal average to finish 3rd).

The 6 game consecutive winning run nearly 55 years ago - I was at all 4 home games.

Sep 19th 3-1 vs Huddesfield (H)
Sep 26th 3-2 vs Burnley (A)
Oct 3rd 3-2 vs Man Utd (H)
Oct 10th 2-1 vs Southampton (A)
Oct 17th 3-2 vs Newcastle (H)
Oct 24th 3-0 vs Man City (H)

Run broken with a undeserved 2-0 loss away at Liverpool.

Job done.
Not anywhere near our best and perhaps we took advantage of a tired Utd side to some degree but that free kick was the one moment of quality in the whole game that decided it.
Love doing the double over MUFC... love it.
Very happy with being mathematically safe from the drop.
Thought Andre was excellent today and I'll even give Toti kudos. Much better from him today and hopefully Vitor is educating him and helping him cut out the mistakes.

Thought Utd were poor although they should have scored. Shame never mind. Kind of makes up for some of the robberies they have inflicted on us a few times since we came up.

Well done Vitor... have a double tonight!

Surely not neves Vs arsenal
I reckon it might be you know, he went ages without scoring one himself and he took them all

Neto never scored one, nor did Podence, Cunha hasn't scored one
