Loan Watch 2022/2023

Nigel Lonwijk currently on trial or something at Rotherham in the championship for a loan move

Sounds promising to be getting linked with loans to that level at 19. Not sure he has actually played any of the U23 games I did catch, take it he has impressed?

He wasn't here last season.

Not really that promising, Rotherham perpetually bounce between the Championship and League One and are looking to replace Michael Ihiekwe who never got near the team here and we weren't even any good at the time. Our very own Nathan Collins was captaining Stoke in the Championship at 18.

He'll make a career but it won't be at Wolves.

He was excellent season before last in the u23s (or might have been the start of last season) and went on loan to Fortuna Sittard. He was a bit part player but did get minutes. He also currently holds the record (I think) as Fortuna Sittards youngest ever goal scorer.

I think this lad has lots of potential and once he bulks up a bit will be physically dominant. Whether he had a career with us or not I don't know but I'd certainly be keeping him around until he's 21/22 at least.

If he doesn't make it then at least he could make some money as a VVD double. Like go to the chippy for him or something else useful.

Perry gone back to Cheltenham on loan for the season.

Fabio on the bench for Anderlecht today. 1st game of the season so guess he is a little behind the rest at the moment.

Wearing the number 99 shirt.

Fabio comes on as sub and 7 minutes later scores

Should have 2 and an assist in fairness. Set his partner up who missed a sitter and then he missed one he should have put away.

Really positive start, can almost taste a 30 goal season from him.

Great finish. Missed an absolute sitter just before his goal from 5 yards. Tried to do too much with it and pulled it wide. Would have probably got a second if one of his teams mates recognised it was 3v1 at the end.

Encouraging start though and looks like he will get a lot of chances.

It will hopefully be a really positive experience, in a competitive league. Can only be good for him and us.

It's a great strike, not fantastic defending but the run and shift of the ball before the ball was Canvani like.
