He isn't anything like suitable for Premier League football as it stands, wouldn't get a game in League One in all likelihood. He's playing at a shite level in Academy football, as I've said before, Benny Ashley-Seal excelled in that league.
Jose or Corbeanu?!

Jose or Corbeanu?!
Pretty clear, isn't it? Jose may not be tailor made for the Prem but he's got enough about him to be decent in Spain; he's clearly above Champ/League One level.

Anyway, back to Liverpool: they had Fabinho back tonight and it sounds like they played quite well. Would be typical of our season and luck if they found some semblance of form just in time for our game...

Although it doesn't make any sense in a fanless world their issue has been at Anfield. Lost their last 6 there, won 5 of their last 6 elsewhere

He's not a central forward

I've watched him quite a few times now and I'd say that's exactly what he is. We've parked him out wide as we have nobody else with his capability to run with the ball inside and out and put a cross in with either foot.

He's big, quick, strong and too good for the U23 level and he's still only 18. He's good with his back to goal and picks lovely passes when pushed against a centre back.

Much like our Academy use of Pote we are wasting Corbeanu in the wrong position IMO.

Doesn't look like a striker to me at all, very much more of a wide player who can play in the middle if really needed (like just what the first team need really!).

He's got a similar 1v1 style out on the right to Neto where he does the quick step over or drag where he can get an extra stride in ahead of the full back to create some space for himself.

I hope he doesn't score, but if he does i hope he does. It's a goal, enjoy it. Never really understood the respect Robbie Keane got for not celebrating. Thanks for that Robbie, but I'd rather you'd not scored the fucking hat trick.

When Robbie scored for Spurs against us a lot of Wolves fans applauded him.

I'll clap a well-loved ex-player on or off. Not if they score though, FFS.

Scenes one year when Tranmere brought Graham Branch on and our morons thought it was Cookie. Poor fella must have been very confused.

Oh yes, that was ridiculous!

Unless its a Lampard or Law against Chelsea/United I want them to celebrate. Cant be doing with all this fake contrition. We've just conceded i dont care what you're doing, I've got valuable time in which to blame Traore.

I’d rather the debate was after the game and whether Hoever was right to celebrate by sliding in front of Klopp when he scored the winner in the last minute.

Let’s be honest, they’ve both been pretty awful - I was actually cringing watching Silva in those first few games - it was horrible.

Let’s play Corbeanu - he, honestly, can’t be any worse than the other two. It’s not like we’ve got anything to play for, and we’re not buying Jose.

If he completes no passes, misses open goals, has no pace or strength - we’re no worse off, really.
I watched about an hour of Blackburn - Brentford last night. Blackburn had a 19 year old forward called Tyrhys Dolan - thought he looked a far better prospect than Fabio Silva.
