The thing with Bernardo is that the role he plays now seemed pretty well outside of his wheelhouse when City purchased him. I have my issues with Pep tactically, but his ability to get even more out of already top class players is nigh on mythical.

One of the most incredible “substance over style” players I’ve ever seen. Which isn’t knocking his skill on the ball; rather, he so rarely wasted an action.
