Had a couple of grabs at it before he finally got hold too.
He had two grabs at it.Look at his face - like he doesn’t know exactly what he did.![]()
It's mad that even after I'd read the description that I still had absolutely no idea what was going to happenSolid header, incredible he got so much power on it...
What's your barometer for the red card being issued though - the force of whatever it is? That leads down the route of harder/softer challenges being dissected into reds and yellows. I feel there are other offences too which are arguably non violent in a physical way which are red cards too?Nobody will convince me that's not a pathetic interpretation of the law - not the ref, the way they are told to enforce it. Shove someone forcefully in the chest, yellow, gentle tug of their hair, red.
But then you're expecting the officials to make a decision based on their own moral compass. While I agree with you on this instance I don't officials deciding what is the correct amount of force, it is easy for the player to choose not to do it, its not like it was an instant reaction, he had 3 goes at it.We all know what a violent act looks like. There are instances where that could include pulling of hair, that last night wasn't one and imo shouldn't be a red by default. The pundit reaction by and large is correct, by the letter of the law it's a red, the law's an ass.
Portsmouth v Leicester this weekend.
Also Ipswich v Boro.
C'mon guys, the Championship is ACE. Isn't it....?
