Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Look at his face - like he doesn’t know exactly what he did. 😂😂
He had two grabs at it.

I only ever got sent off twice when I played. One was two yellows and absolutely bang to rights but the other was lamping some prick who spat in my hair.

Don't be a dickhead.

Nobody will convince me that's not a pathetic interpretation of the law - not the ref, the way they are told to enforce it. Shove someone forcefully in the chest, yellow, gentle tug of their hair, red.

What's your barometer for the red card being issued though - the force of whatever it is? That leads down the route of harder/softer challenges being dissected into reds and yellows. I feel there are other offences too which are arguably non violent in a physical way which are red cards too?

I do feel that a hair pull is an invasive move by an opponent. It's totally out of order. & there are some players for whom hair has culturally a greater significance.

We all know what a violent act looks like. There are instances where that could include pulling of hair, that last night wasn't one and imo shouldn't be a red by default. The pundit reaction by and large is correct, by the letter of the law it's a red, the law's an ass.

But then you're expecting the officials to make a decision based on their own moral compass. While I agree with you on this instance I don't officials deciding what is the correct amount of force, it is easy for the player to choose not to do it, its not like it was an instant reaction, he had 3 goes at it.

Pompey 1-0 up so pushes Albion down a place and leaves Leicester almost at the point of no return

Portsmouth v Leicester this weekend.

Also Ipswich v Boro.

C'mon guys, the Championship is ACE. Isn't it....?

I’m looking forward to not feeling like I’ve had my stomach ripped out every weekend.

Albion won’t go. This 7 game run has got them out of it. Got two teams on the beach and Sheff Wed so 4 points at a minimum, likely 5+. So Leicester would need to win them all in all likelihood and Oxford have got 3 teams in the play off picture and going to have beat at least one of them.

Southampton actually look viable for the automatic places too, which is quite something given league position most the season.
