It’s just not a very good league, today’s games have been turgid again. Man City are just average like Arsenal. Likes of Silva and Rodri are past their best certain replacements aren’t up to the standards of previous players.

I somehow completely missed on André Gomes (he of Benfica, Everton, et al. "fame") signing for Columbus.

Fair to say that neither he nor Neves quite had the club careers they were pegged for (Gomes did sign for Barça, I suppose).

Look at the CL results this week. It's the biggest, most powerful league, but comparatively this season the standard at the top is poor

Spectacularly good hair.

One of the slowest footballers I have ever seen though.

Scored two league goals for Everton in five years and of course one was an absolute belter against us at Goodison (we still won though, Jota ran Michael Keane absolutely ragged)

Yep it’s been a hard watch most the season, 5 games today and just 6 goals and today isn’t a unique day.
Arsenal and Man City are good sides in the sense they’d probably scrape a top 4 finish 6-7 years ago, then after the rest are all just very meh. Liverpool are dreadful defending champions and were one of the poorest champions this century only Leicester you could argue were as poor.
Man Utd have had huge chunks of turmoil this season but still a good shout for the top 4.
We’ve outscored Villa in 2 fixtures against them and they’re up there.
There’s no players that really get you excited on a consistent basis either.

In what way? This Arsenal side wouldn't have won the league at any point since Leicester did. It's not a great year quality wise.
