Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Nothing wrong with that. Take Fridays FA Cup game. Only having an ex Liverpool player in the studio and one on co-comms with nobody offering a voice for the opposition isn’t biased enough IMO.
Lescott seems to be our token bone, even though I'd say he damaged his reputation with Wolves fans with his latter choices. Coady very occasionally.

We got Edwards on comms and he clearly favoured us, presumably he has paused the media stuff now though given he's at Shrewsbury.

No huge fan of Keown as a pundit and I hate Arteta's Arsenal but it was a penalty.

The sky super 6 having all things balanced in their favour in the PL it’s nice to see them get their noses put out of place in Europe.
Real beating city is just one turd beating another turd though and PSG doing it to Chelsea is the same.

Not sure I can put my finger on when it changed, but there was a time when most relatively neutral fans broadly supported other English clubs in Europe. It's long gone now though, I hope they all get battered.
For me it was watching the likes of Kane and Henderson live. At times you thought the ref should just give them the whistle and let them ref the game as they were virtually doing it anyway. After witnessing Spurs repeatedly hack Traore down at Molineux I was never going to want them to win anything other than when they were playing Man United in last year’s Europa final.

Success in Europe just makes the gap between the big teams and the rest even bigger. I’ll happily support Palace as they’re more like us, but I’ll always want the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool to lose in Europe.

Go back another decade and Shearer was doing it at Newcastle

I normally go for the underdog. I like to see the porcelain Gods get shattered. Particularly Guardiola and Arteta
