Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Southampton’s decision to replace Will Still looks justified, they’re flying at the moment.

This Real v City game is fantastic entertainment, actually making me enjoy football which is a rarity this season

Also has there ever been more of a "too good for the Championship, not good enough for the Premier League" player than Adam Armstrong?

Since August 2019 he has 79 goals in 168 Championship games. And 6 in 73 Premier League games.
Until his last PL season (I think) Mitrovic was similar. Yo-yo’d every year between the EFL and PL by virtue of his loans and permanent contracts at Newcastle and Fulham

Looks like WBA have a better Norwegian striker than we do. Good finish from Heggebo to put them ahead against Blades.

As it all stands we’re effectively 15 points from safety, absolutely comical after 16 games to be that far adrift but don’t worry “relegation” is just a word apparently

With having (slightly) better squads it was inevitable that both West Ham and Forest would pull away from the relegation battle once they got competant managers.

🤣maybe not West Ham after all, I might have been a bit premature. Still think with Nuno and Bowen they've a decent chance of survival.

Calvert-Lewin, four goals in four games.

4-4. What a great game that was, brilliant moves, chances at both ends, goalkeeper errors, brilliant free kicks. Nothing like watching us.
Well, except the goalkeeping errors..

Do we think he’s going to get the sack? They are awful to watch and hard to see where it’s going

How bad must Spurs and West Ham be, to have got fewer points at home than us in the last 13 months?

Comical defending from Liverpool gives Spurs a lifeline.
