Them not winning the league would be delightful
Big shades of the Vidič (spelling?) and Ferdinand dropoff post-Fergie.Kyle Walker is absolutely fucking done. Giving off Denis Irwin 2004 vibes.
As good as he is, I think this could well be possible. He's had a wobble once before in 19/20, wasn't until about halfway through the next season when he worked out how to make City a winning machine again. Might be something of a transition year by City's standards.Could be Rodri, could be Pep going stale, could be that it’s simply not possible to maintain their ludicrous consistency for this long.
I’m on the third.
I quite like City but have to agree with this, it's getting boring. Don't want Arsenal to win it but Liverpool would be ok. Would be funny to see Slot eclipse Klopp in his first season!Them not winning the league would be delightful
Spurs have thrown away at least three games this season where they were in a ridiculously commanding position in terms of chances and general play and being in front. Could still win this game mind. Spurs are open and are giving up chances...
Yep. Been a disaster for a while now. For city and England. Think his mind is elsewhere tbh.Kyle Walker is absolutely fucking done. Giving off Denis Irwin 2004 vibes.
It's his legs not mind, he's never been the greatest reader of the game, many a time he's given a yard or two and recovered. Can't do that and his game has goneYep. Been a disaster for a while now. For city and England. Think his mind is elsewhere tbh.
Only saw the first half but City could've easily scored 4-5 themselves by that point on another day - they defenders the Spurs goals terribly but from what I saw could've just been one of those freak days where all the fine margins fall the same way.
Bit of both. Your legs don't go over the space of a few months. Unless you're not putting it in in training. For whatever reason. It's his legs not mind, he's never been the greatest reader of the game, many a time he's given a yard or two and recovered. Can't do that and his game has gone
They do. I could give you NFL examples of Cornerbacks who have fallen off a cliff. You lose that twitch and you are gone and that's what he relied on.Bit of both. Your legs don't go over the space of a few months.
