Live Match Discussion 2024/25

Aberdeen are a decent watch. Just taken the lead against Rangers, and enough there to think they might genuinely challenge Celtic this year I reckon.

They’ll be Celtics closest rivals but still would expect Celtic to pull away post Xmas.
Rangers are a complete shambles of a club no current chairman in charge and very rudderless.

Without looking at who each have played the goal difference probably says a lot.

Just about everyone as there’s only 12 teams in the league. It’ll be 40 years in May since anyone outside the old firm last won the league coincidentally is was Aberdeen under Fergie.

Dunno, I think Celtic aren't as strong without Ange. Last season Rangers gave it to them from a winning position (if I recall correctly)

Started dreadfully (by Rangers standards) with 3 losses in the opening 7 games and Beale got emptied.

Celtic weren't an unstoppable juggernaut and a run of 14 wins in 15 games for Rangers put them top at the start of March. Then they did this:

Let's say it was Fabio Silva's fault.

I’d be absolutely amazed if Aberdeen were able to last the pace.

The context of my post is missing, it was live during the game where they looked decent. I've no idea either but couldn't fault them last night too much

Tamworth took the lead against Huddersfield as the keeper punches a long throw into his own net.

Probably would have been ruled out in the Premier league with the pressure on the keeper but he has to be stronger, was excellent on the previous long throw.

Wouldn't want to see that ruled out at any level. It's not the challenge that throws him he just completely misjudges the flight of it and gets beat by the height of it.

League of Ireland title decider tonight . Shelbourne lead the table on 55 points, Shamrock Rovers are second on 53 .
Shels are away up in Derry right now and it's still scoreless .
Rovers are at home to Waterford and lead 1 0 .
Plenty of time to go .
Shels Manager is Damien Duff .

I wouldnt either, but there's a fair chance with var it gets overturned in the modern game, the 3 big lugs around him definitely had an effect but he has to be stronger.
Lonwijk has looked OK I think, done his defensive work and gets forward a lot, not terrible on the ball.

Luton v Albion is a shocking game so far

Rovers leading 2 0 now , still scoreless in Derry .

Rovers going for an historic 5 in a row titles .

Edit, 2 1 now

Shels take the lead with 3 minutes left , they'll win the title should they win regardless of what Rovers do .
