Live Match Discussion 2024/25

Chelsea returning to their mean now Palmer is out of form. Neto pretty much a waste of a shirt for them also. He's totally unsuited to playing on a team who play on the front foot who have possession; up against teams with men behind the ball and no space to work in.

A conference league win probably won’t save him if they don’t get top 5 either.
On Neto his performance was akin to his Bruno Lage era performances. Trying to pack their squad full of project, young and oven ready players. Nice idea but very flawed, especially when you’ve got goalkeepers who either have a lettuce wrist, distribution as if their eyes or closed or catching ability of a one armed man. Combine that with a strike force that 15 chances a game to score 2 goals.

Except when they play us apparently.

Big break in play PNE v Burnley for I'm guessing an alleged racist comment by one of the Preston players.

Yet another 0-0 for Burnley.
And yet another truly awful game to watch too.

Don Goodman said earlier Scott Parker had "breathed life into them" since losing Kompany, they must have been legally dead and he's got them on a ventilator with how turgid they are to watch.

I think I've seen them five times this season, and the only goal they've scored in that time was an own goal from an Oxford player.

Gotta put on a good show for the international audience by picking the game at the smallest stadium. Which then screws the supporters of the only two teams who won't be able to watch their team legally unless they're at said game.

Loads of jammy luck for Woods to equalise v Fulham. Hits him on the heel, defender falls over, shot takes deflection on the way to goal that otherwise the keeper would have gobbled up....things that run for you when your team is doing well.
