Nah, I think someone made Alan feel like a hypocrite for using it during a debate a couple of weeks ago and in a bid to grow into a better human being, Alan has now decided to not use it as an insult moving forward.

If I’m going to be a hawk about language in the way that I am, I don’t feel like it would be right for me to pick and choose, personally. Gotta at least be logically consistent in my crusades.

It's really rare to hear Americans say twat. Though on Veep, Selina uses it quite a lot (amongst some spectacular insults) but it really annoys me that she pronounces it Twot (as in what) rather than Twat (as in hat)

If he'd got Agbadou in the last window, we'd not be where we are. He made mistakes, he'd lost control of the dressing room, his approach in games went from silly to arrogant, to begging to be sacked, he deserved to go. The lack of recruitment was criminal though.
