His work ethic has never been in question, I just don't see him scoring enough goals a level up. A decent record this season but Adam Armstrong is second top scorer in that league and he's already conclusively proven that he isn't a Premier League player.

2-1 Leicester. Norwich have to come out now. Going to say Leicester will score a couple more now.

Norwich have made Arsenal’s performance yesterday look adventurous. Leicester have been on a dreadful run but rather than ask questions they’ve just sat deep and tried to hang on.

I was discussing this elsewhere with our link to him. Granted only seen about 3 games of Norwich this season but he seems to have no real standout qualities. He isn't fast, nor particularly strong compared to other strikers of his frame. I am intrigued what the Wolves team think they have seen or spotted data wise with him.

There might be a point or two in it if you go further back, that's the pinch point above though, big lead with very few games to go.

Flips my head a bit seeing a table with us above City. I know the broad strokes of their history but still strange to see laid out, given what they already were when I came aboard.

Look at them with their 44 goals in 37 games. Anti football cunts... "but we play football the proper way at Albion...."
Stupid run they went on. We did chuck it but such an average team pulling in that return is the kind of thing that makes you believe in fate.

You'll always get weird quirks like that in retrospect.

Like Yeovil were a division above us 10 years ago (albeit we were about to swap places), we're now going to be starting our 7th straight PL season in August, they're in National League South.

City were on their way back after their 1998 nadir but were really just a well-supported mid-table PL club at heart before their takeover.

If you said to people in the mid 90s that Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford, Burnley and Brighton would be top flight regulars, they'd look at you as if you had two heads.

RIP Yeovil; all I know is they’re small and wear green/yellow.

Yeah English football is a bit more mobile than you'd consider it. Whilst some of it was cups or just adjacent regional leagues. I saw my non league side Corby Town play or be in the same tier as Stevenage, Fleetwood, Rushden & Diamonds, Newport, Sutton Utd, Harrogate and they've all reached the professional game at some stage since the 90s, where as Corby Town went the opposite and are currently at a level that I could have probably got a game for them had they been there when I played (which does irk me a tad!)

Never forget Sir Jack's massive team talk before Sheffield Wednesday away.

I think the new financial rules will end that mobility, certainly at the top of the game. I can sort of understand why those rules are being put in place, but we will lose something special as a result
