11 Minutes added on!
Wow!
Brentford are genuinely appalling for time wasting and generally being wankers. Like a parody of an early 2000s Warnock team in that respect. If they do stick to these directives then expect their game to have the most amount of stoppage time, every single week (barring a very serious injury or some other unforeseen circumstance somewhere else).

Think we'll be right up there with them.

There's going to be a lot of missed trains this season. Don't fancy my chances of our normal 17.19..

Anyone leaving five to ten minutes before the 90 is up are going to be missing a lot of football over the course of the season.

Having never left a game early when I used to go, I can imagine how interminable some of this extra time will be when the game is dead with no chance of us getting back in it.

Agree with Roy Keane on the Brentford keeper on Emerson's goal. Got to save those.

It’s all the long throws and playing for set pieces. Then everytime you’ve got to wait for the mutants to trundle up there.

Carragher and Neville think they'll change it before too long as it's "ridiculous".

It’s been massively overblown. 5 minutes was probably the average second half added time. Is adding an extra 3 minutes to that a big deal?

I know we’ve just had 11 but there was 4 goals, two long VAR checks, ages taking a pen , a sub and the Brentford factor.

The introduction of VAR has taken loads of time out the game which simply wasn’t being added on. If they were adding that on correctly already then the additions for time wasting would barely be noticeable

Yeah. I'd rather they get it right.

I wasn't complaining as we were 1-0 up and needed a win but the added time in both halves of the Villa home game last season was laughable. Like both times not even half what it should have been.

Vicario looks absolutely dog muck. Should be a penalty there. I don't care the ball has gone.

Far too easy for Liverpool. Chelsea saved by millimeters.

I'm confused now. I thought there was a new rule that if part of the attacking player was onside then he was deemed onside? In which case that Salah goal should have stood. Is that not the new offside rule yet then?

It's not, it's Wenger's weird idea and I doubt it'll ever come in. It's nonsense.

I blinked and Liverpool are losing...although VAR will save them

Being trialled in a few leagues though I think, Italy maybe? I generally like the idea of favouring attackers but it's clear that rule will be counterproductive and just cause more defences to sit in. Not using a razor line line to judge attacking is sufficient

I love the waving the imaginary card yellow. Neto will be suspended by the end of September if he doesn't take heed

It was a yellow card all day for Gallagher, somehow got away with it.

Matches will last well beyond the allotted time at this rate . You'll need all 5 subs at this rate every match .
