Thought Johnson had a great game... that last pass was special until Hooper ruined it all.

You can only assume Hooper didn't see Grealish was there. He gave the advantage and blew just as the advantage was about to be taken. An awful mistake that changes the result.

Only possible defense I can think is that the AR was about to flag, but... he didn't. So.

At least that shows the incompetence goes beyond shafting the rest of us.

He looked onside to me, but if the linesman told the ref it was off that could explain him blowing the whistle. It's a serious fuckup by the officials either way.

Lol that is fkn shambolic refereeing. Esp as they were letting obviously offside breaks play out to their natural end 10 mins earlier

It was close but yeah, I think he was onside, too.

If the linesman has said something to Hooper but not also raised his flag to indicate the call, that's incompetence in and of itself, even if it's correct.

and Haaland can get away with haranguing the ref in that manner. along with half of the city players. Talk about different standards just compare that with Hobbs words and punishment

Hobbs will be held to a different standard as he's not playing or coaching staff. He's near enough an executive. I don't find a difference there all that surprising.

Haaland should have scored the two big chances he had then it wouldn’t have mattered.

Some people here were suggesting that we should consider Kelleher as a goalkeeper to buy . Take a look at yesterday's goals v Fulham . I thought he was very poor for all three goals . His lack of first team action is a big problem - as it is for all 2nd choice keepers .

He's just not very good, I have no idea why people like him.

Yeah - I thought he was waaay too good for a backup at that point and there was a bargain to be had. Recent evidence very definitely suggests otherwise and he is now one to avoid. Especially as Liverpool never sell cheap
