This is easily the worst Albion team in 20+ years, back to the halcyon days of Denis Smith and Brian Little. Definitely worse than the Megson outfits which were coherent and spirited but limited. There isn't anything here.

That being so im already nervous they'll shithouse a result next Saturday. Objectively we're better in every metric on paper but I'm so uneasy. Maybe its a Pavlovian response to the last time we played them (and also the likes of Huddersfield)

Huddersfield genuinely outplayed us at Molineux when they won 2-0, actually played some nice stuff. We do not speak of the away game.

I don't watch anything like as much Championship football as I used to (obviously) but I'm fairly puzzled how they went up. Whenever I did see them last season they didn't look any good, and they've looked like a League One team here.

As I say, rationally we should be and are streets ahead of them.

They were promoted with one of the worst points totals of any promoted side, going back to 01/02 only four sides have been promoted with 83 or less points, Cardiff and Hull in 12/13 Albion last season and Albion when they won the League in 2007 with 81 points.

Yes was a penalty, but they are still lucky to have got that chance - hadn't created much else
