Steve Bruce will claim it was a well earnt point after a resilient display

How can anyone who knows anything about football watch this and think it’s ok? Why don’t they just admit they’ve fucked up and change it? I heard yesterday they’re not meeting again until March. I mean, brilliant. We are stuck with ludicrous decisions like this every single game until March.
Once you've started the season with it, you can't change it irrespective of how wank it is, it needs to be consistently wank

First one hit him on the shirt which doesn’t count...

Oh yeah forgot about that, it's a joke. Just ridiculous change to the laws of the game, they don't make any sense at all. Fair play to Jose here who has somehow come out quite calm, i'd be spewing and having to pay fines all over the place.

Graham Souness was just defending it, sort of. Seems to me by trying to solve last year’s problem they have gone and made it worse but they must not under any circumstances change the rule after the season has started. Just scrap VAR next summer.

“Get more goals”

Fuck off Graeme. Unjust goals isn’t entertainment. Is anyone non Newcastle entertained by that? If anything it’s the opposite.

VAR isn't going anywhere, but why do they have to keep changing the handball rules?

They've tried to row back from the awful rule that was ruining goals, but have decided to bring in an equally as awful rule to give undeserved penalties.

Im not calling for violence but if that farce, or the United one yesterday happens in front of a full South Bank someone's on the pitch.

You've only got to see how toxic it got with the Sterling penalty with stuff thrown on and then the Leicester game that at some point an idiot somewhere will go too far.

Question now is how do you realistically defend balls into the box, going up to challenge for a header is basically a lottery.

You have to pogo like a punk. There was a point in the second half where Kane just belted the ball at Lascelles hoping it would hit his arm

Think Roy got it right yesterday, the handball rule should be a simple one, if theres intent its a foul, if not its not. Obviously you will get occasional controversy about what constitutes intent but got to be better than this. As someone said, by trying to put right last years comedy rule change, they've actually made it worse.......on a lighter note, at least its proper pissed off Mourinho....thats got to be a plus point

Some more brilliant lessons in defending from Kyle Walker

What is Kyle Walker doing? Leicester not really in the game before that.

In fairness he said the rule is a crock of shit and it shouldn't have been a penalty. Recognises that although it went for them today they'll be games when they get shafted by it

Chelsea and City battling over the “spend fuckloads and still have a shit back 4 trophy”

Bloody City.....where's the team that caned us in the first half of our game?

Leicester a bit more prepared for it than we were, plus no Jesus up front helps. The defensive frailties were there for all to see on Monday, we just didn't punish them.

Yep, although City deserved the win, we should have really got something from the chances we created second half
