My only logical reason for disallowing it is corruption. The ref was desperate to blow his whistle afterwards. Almost looked like he was trying to make sure he did it before the ball went it so it couldn’t be overturned. Add that to the pen for the ball hitting Rodri in the face and it looks even more dodgy.

I’m not being serious, but that level of incompetence surely isn’t possible.
