Where is he playing, I'm not watching. Listed as right midfield in a 433 on a Fotmob but that often isn't correct. What is he doing well?

He’s the right of the midfield three (or was in first half) but he floats about the pitch.

He’s just so clean technically, works little bits of space so well to stay on the ball too. Knows when to release and when to hold on to it. Nice little passes into forwards feet too

How far off our first team do you think he is? What would you say is missing?

I think he just needs time to be ready for the physicality/speed. Out of possession will be what Nuno wants more from him, due to his nature. I think we just need to start giving him some games for that process to happen

All over that some going by England 3 attempts not one on target only 1 shot on target in 2 games. They look like the minnows who rock up to a tournament and are just happy to be there and just want avoid getting battered.

I didn't really read that as him bemoaning anything to be fair. He just seemed to be pointing out that success at under 21 level is having those players progress to the senior team, which has happened to a few of the U21 squad leaving them weaker for the tournament. I think that is fair enough. Youth development in sport is, and always should be, about progress and improvement, not winning. That is the role of coaches at youth level in any sport.

If "The England U21 team is the utterly impossible job." isn't moaning then I don't know what is. He has a team which is plenty talented enough he's using this as a smokescreen to deflect from that
