Live Match Discussion: 2020/21

I don't know what the answer is though, other than binning VAR off completely (I'd be in favour of this).

The handball one is ridiculous as it would have hit his hip anyway, so they've got that wrong, but offside is... offside, if you know what I mean.
The handball rule was introduced to make VAR binary. I do understand the offside is offside argument, but for me pause the frame if he looks off then give it, if you need the lines then let it go. The technology isn't good enough to guarantee the frame used is the exact moment the ball leaves the foot

Thought the Chelsea 'goal' was exactly what VAR was supposed to do. Looked close with the naked eye, let it go, check with VAR, clearly offside, job done.

Really good finish from Mount gives Chelsea the lead.

While I'd be happy with that and agree, I think that just moves the controversy slightly as people know about the lines now and will just complain the other way!

The argument on the fact you can’t be a bit offside is fair enough but as TT says and as I keep banging on about the Frames ps aren’t advanced enough to make calls on cm’s. If you look at a freeze frame and can’t decide let the onfield decision stand.

Really hope we get this version of Liverpool rock up next Monday and not the one that we got in early December.

Football is drab in general at the moment compared to the madness at the start of the season.

I think it’s a consequence of no pre season and way too much football crammed in. The cups shouldn’t have gone ahead this season for a start.

I've got in the habit of just watching 30 mins or so of whatever game is on around 7-8. The past couple of nights I've watched Wednesday/ Rotherham and Albion/Everton, and now I never want to watch football ever again.

Pope channels his inner Rui and Arsenal are in front at Turf Moor...

Pope has been proper Cybered.
Having a wobble since he was bigged up (still better than Pickford)

Christ. Burnley are eye bleeding to watch. Every fucking week. Just fuck off to the Championship

Ridiculous equaliser! That's where pissing about at the back constantly, gets you.
