Live Match Discussion 2018/19

Rangers clinging on to a place in the Europa League. 20 mins left in the 2nd leg and they are drawing 1-1 - winning 2-1 on agg with an away goal as well but are down to 9 men

Stevie G must be sticking something in their tea, how many red cards is that now since he took over?

Also Livescore is telling me that Morelos got two bookings in the same minute, skills.

Booted the ball away and then gobbed off at the ref. Supreme effort.

Hasn't Morelos been sent off three times alone for Gerrard now? It's got to be at least twice?

More or less a full on second XI for Burnley tonight. Looks like Dyche has abandoned it.

I'd be furious if we ever went down that road in a European game.

Utterly pathetic. Might be the only chance they get at Europe in some of their fans' lifetimes.

Agreed plus it puts huge pressure on the next league game. Am I in a minority that thinks Dyche isn’t all that? Yes they came 7th last season but there football Is turgid at best.
Heard similar crap from Stuart Pearce on talksport this morning ie win at all costs sod how it looks.

He's obviously a good manager to a point but I don't think he has the vision to do anything other than what he currently offers (and the peak of that was probably last year, in a division that was of awful quality below the top five). Look at who he signs, British, Irish or foreigners who already play in England, virtually nothing else.

This summer they should have been moving along from the likes of Ward, Barnes, Mee, Hendrick etc and they haven't.

To a point pretty much sums it up for me he’s in the same mould as BFS will do a job to a point. But some journos asking why the likes of Dyche don’t get top jobs? I’d give him 6 months at ie Man Utd before things go south quickly.

I thought he was a bit unlucky not to be in the reckoning for Everton last year (assuming he'd have wanted to go), I would take him over BFS 100 times out of 100. That's about the limit of it though.

Our Rodders having a ropey five minutes. First a rubbish header (from the Paul Blades school of "up and backwards" rather than "away") leading to a good chance where Vokes should have scored, and then way too tight on Vokes and lucky not to get booked for a headlock and slam to the ground. Also was way too far off Barnes earlier which almost led to a chance inside the box. He has played a couple of nice passes but nothing has really changed with him, I can see why we saw potential and why we signed him given our style of play, I can see why he is not going to work out in England.

Doesn’t look any different to how he did for us. Seems obsessed with trying to win the ball from behind the striker when he is trying to back in and ends up just getting turned. Lost count of the times he did this for us. Doesn’t deal with any physicality well, nearly got done for pace by Vokes and suspect under the high ball.

1-0 Olympiacos. Burnley have actually played alright, missed a hell of a lot of chances. Might have gone through with a proper team.

Podence who got the goal is a bit of a Lidl Jota.

1-1, Vydra from about eight inches. Too late though surely.

Regardless it’s still a $#@!ing hilarious own goal. I see that Huddersfield fan who was trolling us about 18 months ago has disappeared.

Was that podence from sporting?
