It's not "breaking down", this narrative needs to end. We broke Brighton down plenty on Saturday and so did Spurs up to 87 minutes today, just neither of us scored. Bad finishing, poor decisions, lucky breaks, reasonable saves...they weren't negating anything.

If we'd won 3-0 on Saturday they could not have complained. If Spurs had won 5-0 tonight they could not have complained. It wasn't a case of they defended brilliantly and stopped the opposition with a serious masterclass. Nothing like. They just turned it into a non-spectacle and crossed their fingers.

they’ve gained 1 point from there tactics, we’ve had a good season but we’re not Barcelona. They’re gambling big time if Cardiff beat Fulham they’ll have to beat Newcastle otherwise they could be totally reliant on palace doing them a favour.
