I'd have happily binned off Saunders before he'd even taken charge of a match. It was obviously going to be a disaster. The guy was a moron and there was nothing in his previous employment that suggested he was anywhere near good enough for the job.

I remember speaking with you after the 1st interview and we both agreed he had said the right things. It didn't last, you were grumbling after Blackburn (rest of us were getting excited as we had seen the ball go into the opposition penalty area) and he lost you after Sheff Wed away.
