Fabianski is giving Arsenal the finger and then some with this performance. Always was better than Szczeny for my money.

He's made a lot of saves but none have been particularly difficult from what I've seen, Arsenal just haven't created any great chances, Sanchez got the best chance by luck when it hit him in the box but his attempt on goal was wank and the follow up from Walcott not much better, Arsenal only have themselves to blame.

Watched the first half and it was Arsenal at their attacking worst, loads of the ball but just passing it around in front of the defence, didn't draw Swansea out at all and they were happy just to sit and contain, tons of creative players on the pitch but all of them seemingly waiting for someone else to take the lead. They have some outstanding footballers but for all the talk of Chelsea being boring of late, while they have Hazard (and Costa, when fit) in their team they're a lot more incisive than Arsenal are a lot of the time.

The balace seems to be off a bit lately.

They're at their best when the play into Giroud with his back to goal and get runners up to him for the return, there was none of that tonight, Ramsey out wide is just a waste, he's perfect for that sort of link up with Giroud when he's more central but Ozil get's the nod there instead and he doesn't offer that option at all. I'm still unconvinced Ozil actually works in this Arsenal team, he doesn't seem capable of playing with the intensity that they show at their best, just wants to loaf around the midfield looking for someone to make a run in behind, not much chance of that happening with Giroud up top and Ramsey in one of the wide positions, Sanchez is his only option and he just hasn't been playing very well of late.
