If there's a winner between CSKA and Roma then only a win is good enough for City. Roma 1-0 up at the moment which means City need to win both tonight and in Rome as it stands.

It's possible Bayern doesn't want City to advance,they are,in my opinion,a better side than Roma/CSKA and maybe in Bayern's opinion too.So that's possibly Bayern's motivation aside from always wanting to win games.
