United 4th and Newcastle 5th! Pardew was supposed to be sacked!

Only have Gibbs to blame, takes out his own keeper then kicks it into his own net, shocker.

What about the four clear cutchances that Arsenal missed. They should have been out of sight, but fair play to United, they stuck in there, and Rooney showed them how to finish.

Messi taking the la liga record,252 now.

You only said about United scoring, nothing to do with them leading, the goal was all Gibbs' fault.

Just too bad that twelfth is all the worse off they are.

How did Rodgers get them to within two points of the title last season? It can't have all been down to Suarez.

With Suarez,Sturridge and Sterling the opposition had a lot to worry about, now they don't.Rodgers being hell bent to play out of form players doesn't help either. :)

Milan taking the lead over Inter, nice goal Menez.

Carragher & Neville giving Howard Webb a grilling in the Sky MNF studios. Good TV.

Howard Webb's hands are busy. It's as if he's snorted some white powder.

And Howard explaining the different situations. Really interesting.

I think more refs should do this. The NFL Network has (or used to have at least) a program called Official Review where a top official will come in to analyse the most contentious decisions of the week. They were always very honest when a colleague had made a mistake but were also excellent at explaining the rules clearly and often managed to sway you round to their way of thinking. Football refs are too far apart from the fans IMO, I think there'd be a lot more respect if they were more open.

Personally I would have no objection to referees explaining their decisions, but they are only allowed to communicate with the media when permission is given. Howard Webb is no longer refereeing which is why he was in the studio.
