We were out with friends, but I must admit that I applauded when the referee gave the penalty to Swansea. It is very pleasing that at least one referee is learning that all this holding and shirt pulling at every set piece needs to be eradicated.

He's not 'learning' it, though, is he? He just seemed to make an arbitrary decision. He might let the next 30 shirt-tugs go.

The only thing on which Mark Hughes and Garry Monk agreed tonight was that the referee's performance was a long way below par.

Rojo is garbage. Sessegnon's best shot of the whole season right there, 99/100 that goes into row z from him! Shaw does look slow, was jogging back in the build up to the goal, I can see LvG's point. Also, what's happened to van Persie? He looks a shadow of the player he was.

RVP's 31 now, an old 31 at that with all the injuries he's had. Not looked good for well over a year now.

Rojo was a desperately poor signing, he was bumming around the Russian and Portuguese leagues for a good reason. Didn't even have a good World Cup so can't even pin it on impulse from there.
