LIVE! Match discussion 2014/15

A bit different when it's Lampard against a team he played for for 13 years and scored 200 odd goals for. Would you have expected Bully to celebrate a goal vs Wolves.

FFS!! :icon_lol:

Great minds, Herr Deutsch.

Pretty nasty comment from Jose towards Lampard. Poor.

nevermind, i have seen the interview now..the bitter bastard mourinho..that is just so low, not that I'm surprised

Don't see anything wrong with his comments at all?

He is a Man City player. Maybe I am too pragmatic in football but he decided to come to a competitor of Chelsea and love stories are obviously over. He did his job as the super-professional he is and he scored.

Is this the comment?

For me he is basically saying lampard is just a professional and dont care about his former club chelsea...he didnt celebrate one bit and almost cried when chelsea fans applauded him off the pitch...go and hide mourinho

You're being ridiculous. Nothing wrong with that comment at all.

It does sound as though he's being a wee bit sarcastic at first - but no, I think he's basically saying that pragmatism should take preference over sentimentality, and that Lampard doesn't owe Chelsea anything, no matter how long he spent there.

Mourinho probably made a similar speech when he was trying to tap up Ashley Cole.

I have just been talking to a friend who is a Leicester season ticket holder, and he said how surprised he was at how poor Manchester United were when they did not have the ball. Rooney apart, none of the other forward players seemed interested in tracking back or even trying to win the ball from Leicester. He also said that he saw better defences last year in the Championship. Quite a damning verdict.

Delort's "hair" looks ridiculous. :)

Wigan and Ipswich are two shocking teams playing shocking football. Their passing is so slow. I'd venture that we'd be furious if our team was playing at this tempo.

1-0 Ipswich,nice goal.Hyam scored.

Ipswich are very good value for their half time lead. I must admit that I expected more from Wigan.

agree on Delort, poor so far...but wigan have looked very poor, with no desire taking to many touches on each player
