HSV continuing their trademark awful start to the season, 2-0 down at Hannover and they still haven't scored yet this season. And Bayern up next...

Sigurdarson back on the bench for Molde after his injury.

Didn't they lose 3-0 at home to Paderborn too?

They did. They've bought some good players but same old problems.

Kjartansson with 24 goals in 22 matches now,for Vålerenga.

All fun and games in Italy,Parma 3-4 AC Milan.Milan down to 10 men too.15+ mins to go.

;) Amazing own goal and it's 4-5

Long term, if they go 4-2-3-1 with him and Strootman as the two deep CMs, that would be an excellent base.

Huge difference with him in there today instead of Fletcher who sadly is done at that level.

He seems to read the game well although obviously it'll be harder against pretty much everyone else in the league. I was impressed with Herrera too - constantly passing and moving, never stayed still. Di Maria looked awesome at times but some of his passing was atrocious.

Di Maria MotM for me,with Blind and Rojo having a very good debut as well.

The loanee chap was rubbish. :)

Impressive.

Although I'd look good up against Leroy Fer.

Yeah a shame for him because he apparently had a good pre-season and was linking up well with Cresswell.

Hull to win and Diame MOTM? Everytime I see Allardyce talk he seems to be making very subtle sly digs at the board.

He knows they'd can him tomorrow if he weren't on such a ludicrous contract (their own fault). Not healthy stuff but then if he didn't play football that was as aesthetically pleasing as a Vanessa Feltz Playboy special or behave like an oaf then he'd avoid a lot of the criticism. West Ham fans hate him.

How long does his contract run til? I guess he is a good bet to keep any team in the league despite the dreadful football, so they can just let his contract expire and build up the squad for a manager who might try to pass the ball along the floor once in a while.

Just to the end of this season I think. The board know they aren't selling 50,000 seats if he's still in charge when they move ground.

Makes sense then. Unless they are in a seriously dire position he isn't going anywhere until then. I can't see him getting another job in the Premier League after though. Then again I thought that with Pulis when he left Stoke

Pulis doesn't think himself a tactical genius, Allardyce's ego is rampant. Plus his links with that slimeball Mark Curtis, yuck. One of those where if he were appointed here I'd stop going.

Yeah, a decent size club won't go anywhere near him anymore and any promoted/struggling side won't be able to afford him
