I wonder how Boro fans feel about Bolton's performance tonight. I'd be spitting feathers if I were Boro and deeply ashamed if I was a Bolton fan (thank fuck I'm not).

Not at all what I've come to expect from a Lennon team in recent years and speaks of deeper problems at the club IMO. Could see them having a tough time of it next year.

It was a very on the beach performance.

Shocking from Neil "We don't do friendlies" Lennon. Lost a hell of a lot of respect for him tonight and I didn't have a much to begin with.

I think they'll have a real struggle next season I'd be surprised if they aren't in a dog fight next season.

I think Bolton performed like a team with nothing to play for whilst Bournemouth clearly did. You can come out with all the soundbites but ultimately when it doesn't mean as much to one team it tells. There a reason why there is something to the cliche about rather playing a team that is safe at this time of year rather than one battling against relegation, even though under normal events the latter is the inferior team. I expect a similar performance and scoreline at Derby on Saturday.

This is a bit "Sir Jack" from the Bournemouth Chairman

"I think we'll survive," Mostyn said. "We are going up with Watford and we've got four points from them this year, we beat QPR last year and we should have got more points from Burnley"

After beating Newcastle Sir Jack thought we had enough to compete in the Prem.

To be fair, I don't think there's any denying he has done a fantastic job at Bournemouth, even if the narrative of them doing it on a shoestring is wrong, and they've had a sizeable slice of fortune with some refereeing decisions this year.

Remains to be seen how grounded the club remain - I don't know enough about the owner or chairman to say either way, but there are plenty out there who would be very quickly seduced by a high profile, currently unemployed manager who has a history of publicly touting for jobs that are already occupied and who lives in the local area (let's call him Rarry Hedknapp) if they get off to a really poor start next season. And we all know how that would end.

:icon_lol:
Lest we forget, they were the first club he bankrupted.

Things a Manager never want's to hear from his Chairman, Part 1.

If Rarry Hedknapp did exist, do we reckon he'd have already started commenting on Bournemouth situation?

Watford actually have a shit record against the top 8 this season so not sure that's a good measuring stick.

No, its a horrible statement and put unnecessary pressure on the team if anybody remembers it next season

Messi, Suarez and Neymar all scored within the opening half an hour to give Barca a 3-0 lead over Getafe, apparently over 100 goals between the 3 of them this season now, silly stuff.

Now Xavi is in on the act, 4-0 up before there's 30 minutes on the clock.

Lewandowski gives Bayern the lead against Dortmund, apparently scored against his former club everytime they've met this season.

Colchester lead against Swindon...Good news for Crawley ;)

lolerpool strike again.
