Soldado is really odd. When I saw him in Spain he just looked like a poacher, nothing else to his game at all but his goalscoring record spoke for itself. He's come here, his link play is really good, he actually creates some very good opportunities for others - useless in front of goal, he misses everything, all kinds of chances. No rhyme or reason to it.

Altidore looked exactly the same as he did the first time he was in England, terrible at absolutely everything. Doesn't even have the right body shape for a footballer or any aptitude to even stand in the right place. The kind of bloke who you wonder how he ever passed a trial anywhere let alone got people to pay money for him. And yet he can't really be quite as bad as he's appeared.

Henri Lansbury puts Derby one up with an own goal.

Forest now leading against Derby 2-1, certainly didn't expect that.

Cracking strike from Osborn but Derby let him run too far with it. Questions on the keeper too, though it was struck very hard.

West Ham fans are getting on their players backs at every mistake. They may not be playing great, but the crowd need to encourage them a little bit more.

It's been a poor game. Hull have set up in an awful formation with players out of positions all over the place while West Ham have struggled to get a foothold on the ball and end up with Collins playing it in the air to Carroll.

Aluko has been one of the few bright sparks in this game, but his refusal to shoot is frustrating!

State of the combover on Hull's physio. Shave it off man!

Last week Hull lost two forwards through injury before half time. Now they have two defenders injured in the first half. They are certainly not having much luck.

These two injuries have probably improved them though, both wing backs now in their proper places and Maguire is an upgrade on Bruce.

Then Davies gets bullied by Carroll and they're 1-0 down.

Yeah. I assumed they had no one else but then he brought Sagbo on and put him back at centre back :icon_lol: 3-0 now anyway

Hull have gone to pieces in the second half. Though West Ham have been much better than they were in the first half.

Hull look appalling. The trapdoor awaits for them and Leicester unless results improve sharpish. I will spend the rest of the season cheering any and every burnley point if it helps that shyster Redknapp and his QPR mob to finish below the dotted line.

They've got no threat up top, even with Jelavic fit they struggle to really worry teams, they're pretty solid at the back generally though and got some tidy players in the middle of the park too, they should be able to do enough to stay up if they get at least 1 decent forward in and Bruce stops meddling at the back.

Bruce always seems really keen to go to three at the back (often fitting his son into the team). They have good enough centre backs to play a back four, and their full backs when fit aren't terrible. I know he's trying to play a system to play two forwards but it really limits them IMO.

I think El Mohomady struggles with the defensive side when he's playing as a proper right back, better for him as a wing back with the security of that extra centre half behind him and i haven't seen Rosenior play for ages to know if he's up to it in his place, Figueroa is decent stuff for either system on the other side though.

I don't think they've got a forward to go 1 up top at the minute though, Jelavic is the best they have at the minute and he offers little other than a finishing touch, Aluko looked bright in the first half but didn't shoot when he could've and Sagbo is just piss. I think a new forward who's capable of going it alone, and perhaps a new right back too, could set them up pretty well to go with either system.

They have Hernandez who looks decent but is out for a month or so.
