Kane puzzles me a little bit, nothing about him really stands out whenever I see him play, he's not particularly quick or strong or skillful, he looks pretty average at almost all aspects of the game so his goals almost defy belief to an extent, sort of reminds me of a higher level Dave Kitson.

Maybe he doesn't have anything that really stands out but could it be he's just good at everything. He's got a good touch, he's not slow, he's strong enough and he certainly has got an eye for a goal. It's only been half a season but he looks a real player and hopefully can only get better.

City and Chelsea now both have 44-19 goals for/ag

Mauricio Pochettino should shake Mourinho by the hand and piss off down the tunnel.

I'm not arguing with what he produces but he just 'looks' very ordinary, you compare him to playing against the likes of Hazard who's got the pace and agility to terrify pretty much any defender and you just don't see anything like as much of a threat from someone like Kane, thinking back to when Drogba was in his pomp, there were days when it didn't matter what defenders would try because you knew he had the mix of strength and pace to beat them one way or the other if he turned it on.

This isn't a attack on Kane, I've got nothing against him at all, he just isn't a great 'performer' i suppose, I can't ever really picture him being the sort of player to get people giddy with excitement everytime he's on the ball in the way that others can but then not every player can be like that. Thinking about it, someone like Lewandowski probably isn't too dissimilar, he's not massively quick or strong, though he is deceptively good in the air for someone who isn't especially big, but he does everything that's needed of him, or at least did at Dortmund, haven't seen anything like as much of him at Bayern.

As i said at first, he reminds me of Kitson, he's getting loads of goals but when you sit and watch him nothing really stands out in his game that makes you think he'd carry such a threat.

I didn't see it as an attack on him i was just putting it out there that maybe that's what it is because i agree with you. He doesn't look that great but comes up with what's needed. For me he just looks good at everything right now and so hasn't got any real flaws although his finishing is of the highest standard at the moment.

I think you're both right, he reminds me of Sheringham and Lambert with his ability to think and link play as well as being a quality finisher.

I think even Lambert has a more obvious threat than Kane to be fair to him, if you were lining up against Lambert you know you'd be getting beat in the air all afternoon.

Just switched on the Hearts v Hibs derby and when the cameras zoomed in on the benches one of the substitutes was checking his phone!

Watching Sevilla v Celta with one eye,Celta just down to 10.Straight red just looks like an awful decision.

Having followed Spanish footy more this season, the refs there simply don't allow anything.

Can see why he did though - coming in at speed with one foot well off the ground & got the man and none of the ball

Dover v Palace 0-1 Dann.Hennessey starting.

The keeper had a mare too, coming out for a cross that he had no chance on and ends up diving back towards his own goal in an attempt to save, potentially comfortable save if he'd just stayed on his line.

Doyle on. This might be his level.
