Ignoring the obvious Truss link this is actually a really interesting interview (also shows how very intelligent people can get swept along by idiots) - Kwarteng talks a lot about how immigrants or second generation immigrants shouldn't be seen as a monolithic block always destined to vote Labour. A lot are more naturally aligned with Tories, or even the more extreme parts of the right. A really interesting listen and worth working through as it certainly challenged my pre-conceptions

I hope that happens because they will never get anywhere near winning an election with that strategy.
They need to do the complete opposite and move to the moderate centre ground if they want any chance of winning an election in the future. Don't tell them though - its fun to see them self destruct.

In a time when many people get their news from social media don’t underestimate the power of personality over policies. Only the other day on Times Radio people in a focus group were keen to see Boris back “as he’s got personality “. I wouldn’t rule out a merged Tory/Reform Party getting elected in the future, though the Tory brand is currently toxic so not at the next election.
