Sounds as if Boly was only a foot or two away from the header - not sure that he could have done anything.

Might be within the law, but not within commonsense

Will VAR be used for a player easily going over to get a free kick which they score from?

This is complete fucking bullshit, and not because its against us. How the fuck is this in the spirit of the game, touched bolys shoulder for a fraction of a second, nothing to do with the goal

FUUUUCK JOTA

We should be 2/3 ahead

Game is gone for me. That is not a handball in a million years. I would say the same if it was the other way around.

Ruined the game.

It is not the fault of VAR, it is the way that refs have been told to interpret the rule. Any touch, intentional or not, it's a foul.

Stupid c#%*^s at FIFA and UEFA.

Wouldn't have wanted that disallowed even if it was against us - didn't really affect the outcome

I could understand if it accidentally hits an arm and goes in, but when it's such a small contact that doesn't significantly change the direction of the ball it's just crazy.

How is that handball but the Spurs shot deflected by a Villa arm not a penalty? Absolute joke.

exactly. i would not say a word if it was against us and counted. complete and utter shit, is this how games will be decided from now on? why not watch 10 mins before the goal to make sure no rules were broken leading up to it

The regulation is now that any use of the hand that leads to a goal and it's chalked off. No intent nothing. So you will see that a lot
