Leicester 0-3 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Did Colin Lee win 5-1 at Bristol in his first when he was caretaking?
6-1

I would argue Nuno's 1-0 vs Boro (heavy favourites for winning the league and we were a mess when he walked in) was better

We didn't really deserve to win 3-0, but Leicester certainly deserved to lose that badly. They were atrocious, and on that performance will not be staying up.
Rodrigo still a bit lightweight but he did put in some effort. Otherwise everyone did OK, even Doc.
Cunha great as usual, Guedes actually put in a shift, but Andre MOTM for me, for the composure he brought in front of the defence.

He's still a bit weak but he offers way more on the ball than Bellegarde or Hwang do.

Goal was a farce
Yeah just seen the goals, Roddy's was comedy gold but thought the other 2 were decent, good work by Larsen to give Guedes time and space for a decent finish 3rd goal was pretty well worked.

The only slight negative I have, is that imagine that last week or early. Really pleased. Just one game and obviously fortunate with some of their issues, but the difference is we took advantage. Already back to believing we can continue to beat the bad teams again, which is a good start. Need an addition at CB though regardless of today's clean sheet.

Question now is, can we be a couple of wins better than the promoted 3 over 21 games? We have a better squad than all 3. A more experienced coach. A bit more experience on the pitch at digging ourselves out of a hole before. Suspect we'll make a couple of better additions than the others in January too.

Fuck it, we're staying up.

I thought we were behind the 8 ball at lunchtime today. In a hole if we lost.

I give us a puncher's chance now. No more than that because I could easily see us losing 3 in a row again and it doesn't get easier directly after that. But we're in there.

Agreed. But same applies for those below and directly above us. I think this is peak Everton and Palace, and one of them will head firmly into the ditch with the rest of us.

Not seen a second of the game as we are spending the day in York with the little munchkin but been following this thread and it's been making my day especially as the last Sunday before Christmas was also in York when we were battered 3-0 away to West Ham so the reverse is most welcome especially considering what the table would have looked like had we lost.

Welcome Vitor, what a fantastic start, we sound instantly better all over the pitch with a proper manager in charge again, such a shame we left it so long but hopefully we get away with it.

Will enjoy MOTD later to see what I missed, looking forward to Boxing Day against United. Had O'Neil stayed I was considering staying at home with my family

Everton can't score and that ain't changing. 14 goals all season including that 4-0 spanking we took. That's abysmal/ hilarious
