Dendoncker just offers another body in there really, he'll stop Leeds having so much space in the middle but he's not going to do anything in possession that helps you play through the inevitable press. Would've been more minded to give Cundle the chance to be that option if thought numbers in the middle were so important.

I'd have stuck 343 and looked to use the wide forwards to take advantage of their fullbacks being adventurous.

Donk does make decent runs down that right channel to be fair. It's just when the ball goes to him he has to play a simple (often backwards) pass or he loses it.

You could just play a wide forward who would be more competent in that exact area where Dendoncker does his only useful bit of attacking play. It's not even like they're great runs he makes, he just does it that often eventually someone is going to pick him out.

Leeds STH I work with says they now play with their wide forwards tucked in and are open to getting done down the flanks. May have been a 343 game. If not big responsibility on the WBs to get at them
