Leeds (A) 18/04: Build-Up & Match Thread

We could do with a delusional happy clapper on here, at the moment all you can argue about is whether the future is really really bleak or really really really bleak
Or do what I do, which is just "FFS" at the men's first team and all that surrounds them and focus on the women's first team where there are plenty of positives to be found. Until we discover that Jeff's leaving present was to completely screw them over again.

So, forget the games today but a point for West Ham tomorrow and Nuno will relegate us. Has a kind of symmetry to it...

Not so much a happy clapper but I can see why Mark doesn't post anymore... must be really difficult to take up a contrary position when we're so shit...

That or he sought help for his Ruben Neves obsession and has been able to move on with his life. I'm happy for him

I keep thinking of ways and permutations that would lead to him going, but then I always remember they not only didn't want to get rid of O'Neil when they did, but then tried to bring him back; and give up trying to convince myself.
That was under Jeff Shi. I am hoping that Nathan has more about him; it would not be difficult.

Just listening to the Judah/Spiers podcast, interesting to hear Spiers say "Lima was brilliant when he came on." Not seen any other people praise him so, hyperbolic nonsense or just a comment to how bad Tchatchoua was? Would Lima be a viable option next season?
I've seen none of the game or highlights.

Lima wasn’t brilliant - he didn’t do much wrong and equally nothing particularly impressive. Unlike Tchatchoua he was able to control the ball and for that reason alone deserves a run of games so we can see what he can do.

He was fairly lost on the counter attack which led to their penalty iirc
