Keir Starmer at it again..

For the good of his Party and the country Starmer perhaps needs to look at how Biden’s desperate attempt to cling to power played out. By the time Biden finally accepted he shouldn’t stand again irreparable damage had been done. There’s time for a new Labour leader to turn things round but Starmer, unfairly in many ways, is seen as being a poor PM. Life’s not fair though and he has no chance of winning back the voters he’s lost and though a new leader won’t have it easy they will at least have a chance to change Labour’s fortunes.

So Andy Burnham is our Kamala Harris who will usher in Nigel Farage?

It's an absolutely ludicrous statement. As if Starmer isn't already the one ushering Farage into office.
If the alternative is Wes then 🤷🏻‍♂️, sadly I think Labour are going to follow the Biden model pretty well - do pretty well according to the figures but lose out on the feels.

The UK is not big enough to cope with the shocks caused by a Trump/Farage leadership. Best get sharpening the dual passport applications I think.

It's the politics that are the issue not the personalities. Burnham is about the most likeable of them but he's not going to magically save Labour at the next election.

I think if they can get the majority of the voting public to look at what they're achieving with their policies then yes that will make a difference rather than rely on personalities.
I'm not convinced the Labour leadership are capable of that or that the mostly right wing media will allow it.

I don’t know if AB or anyone else will magically save Labour but I am certain that in 2026 having a PM with little charisma and not much more direction is a sure fire way of handing the next election to Reform.
