Keir Starmer at it again..

Where do you sit with Lucy Letby? Fits your criteria, but there's momentum behind the view that's she's innocent, but late if you've already killed her.
Well yeah that's where the high threshold and certainty of guilt comes in. Obviously a difficult one to prove without eyewitness/cctv etc. obviously it's a big picture thought on my side rather than a detailed plan. There's a new documentary on her out tomorrow though so I'll let you know if she's for the chop 🤣

Why does everything have to come down to race and colour on here? I’m not a violent man but I wouldn’t give a shit if Rudakabana was terminated for what he did to those little girls. He is 100% guilty. Lucy Letby though, there is a degree of doubt about how safe her conviction is when you look into the case and the evidence provided. Levi Belfield, Ian Huntley, Ian Watkins if he was still alive though, white guys, 100% guilty, they could have the same fate as Rudakabana

I’d love to see an example of a non-white/blonde/attractive convicted murderer getting so much publicity about being innocent.

Haven't seen much about Beverley Allett, guess that's because she was ugly in comparison to Letby?

She was convicted on the evidence of medical specialists in their field. I'd say at the time that would have been seen by the vast majority as 100% guilty. This isn't a post in her defence, her innocence is still dependent on a number of unlikely coincidences from what I've read, just anti death penalty

Indeed she was but are you as confident in her guilt 100% as you are that of Rudakabana and Huntley? I know she was found guilty in a court of law but I am asking if you would be as confident in her being guilty as you would the others?

What's the bar and who decides it? If you bring back the death penalty it has to based on the offence, not how sure you are of their guilt. Guilty is guilty in the eyes of the law.

Was just wondering how sure you would be. I think there are certain crimes such as the ones we have mentioned where there is no doubt that the right people have been convicted. I'm not so sure about Letby, I have doubts on that one but not on Rudakabana, Huntley, Belfield, Steve Wright, Ian Brady the Wests

But who decides that? Letby is convicted of killing 7 children, Huntley 2, so if you execute the one, then you do the other. You can't have a justice system that works on 'we think you are a bit more guilty' as that immediately undermines the conviction.

I'm not particularly advocating the death penalty though would lose no sleep if certain scum were to be put out of our misery and yes I do see what you are saying but there are certain crimes where there is no doubting that the perpetrator is guilty. Personally I am unsure of the absolute guilt of Letby and think it maybe should be re-examined. The same cannot be said of the others listed. My original point wasn't really to advocate the death penalty, it was more about the suggestion that people are questioning Letby because she is white, blonde (dyed or otherwise) and vaguely attractive compared to Rudakabana

I'm no Ally McBeal, but there will be cases that aren't just beyond reasonable doubt, but absolutely without question.
